CONGRATULATIONS TO  KETURAH MICHAEL OF CHICAGO, IL FOR HER BEAUTIFUL DESIGN USING INGEOTM YARN
Keturah Michael is currently attending the School of the Art Institute of Chicago and her major focus is in the Fiber and Material Studies Department.  Having a strong interest in the fashion world also, a lot of her work is influenced by the fashion industry.  She has just completed her first semester of her junior year and finished her first knitted garment she designed and created herself.  She created her dress out of 100% corn fiber with the hand dyed teal and autumn colors.  Keturah has been extremely interested in the specific origin of the fiber and has felt a close connection to it.  Growing up on a farm that has been in her family for over 110 years has definitively been a huge influence in the work that she have made while being at the School.  An urge to create something from a product the family grows keeps a strong relationship between Keturah and her home.

NEW! -->>  We're also selling yarn and fiber on ETSY.COM at http://www.etsy.com/shop.php?user_id=5102323

New ideas, innovation, and experimentation with fibers is our specialty!  We specialize in the use and blending of Ingeo fiber (from Corn!) that we dye right here in our special dye kitchen, wool from our favorite sheep breeds, mohair from our own angora goats and toss in a few more exotic fibers and we get  terrific surprises and definitely unique art work.

Our projects are what we call "edgey".....since we have plenty of fiber to work with we perfect our techniques and projects before we share them with you.  Our products have been tested repeatedly to ensure consistent results.

We stand behind all products we sell and endorse.
